		<description>I posted a longer comment, and my personal blog is called "HappyGod". So I agree that God is joyous and happy.

However, I believe that the reason God is happy is because He knows what He has planned. And what He has planned is the "times of restitution of all things." (Acts 3:19-21) God knows that soon (even as humans measure time), there will be one family, in heaven and in earth, unified in Christ. I invite you to investigate the many scriptures which promise a restoration of the earth to all its potential glory, peopled by a happy race, not a desperate and sad and disobedient and rebellious one.

I believe that God's work of redemption through Christ is aimed at nothing less than the illumination of the heart and mind, and the fullest possible opportunity for eternal life, for every person who has ever lived. That's what makes me happy, and I believe that is what makes God happy.
